What is ALFA AIRSAFE?
ALFA AIRSAFE, is a safe blowing unit that produces high-volume, oil-free and clean air at 0.2 bar pressure. It is specially designed for cleaning personnel clothing and for machine and part cleaning/drying applications.
ALFA AIRSAFE produces 2400 L/min oil-free air at 0.2 bar pressure in compliance with OSHA standards. Therefore, it does not pose a danger when air is blown directly onto personnel clothing or skin.
The unit includes a protective nozzle designed in accordance with OSHA standards to prevent chips and particles from rebounding during blowing.
Energy Efficiency
Operating on 220 V city electricity, ALFA AIRSAFE consumes only between 0.2 kWh – 1.4 kWh thanks to its speed-controlled motor. With this feature, it provides approximately 10 times more economical air production compared to compressed air.
Oil-Free Clean Air
Its built-in HEPA filter captures 99.9% of particles, guaranteeing the delivery of clean air even if dust is present in the environment.
Since ALFA AIRSAFE does not contain any parts operating with machine oil, it produces oil-free, clean air. In this way, it does not pose a risk of contamination when blown directly onto the product during production processes.

OSHA and Compressed Air
OSHA Approach and Cleaning with Compressed Air
Cleaning and drying processes with compressed air are widely used in the industry. However, the use of high-pressure air can pose serious occupational safety risks if applied incorrectly.
For this reason, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), which sets occupational safety standards in the USA, has established an important limit regarding cleaning with compressed air.
According to the OSHA 1910.242(b) standard:
Compressed air can only be used for cleaning purposes if its pressure is reduced below 30 PSI (approximately 2 bar) and with appropriate protective equipment.
However, when compressed air is reduced below 2 bar, its flow rate, hence its pressure power, drops significantly, and operators do not want to use it this way.
AirSafe personnel cleaning and drying systems are designed with a low-pressure but high-flow (high-pressure power) operating principle in accordance with the OSHA approach.
Key Features of AIRSAFE:
✔ Low operating pressure
Provides safe airflow at approximately 0.2 bar.
✔ High airflow rate
Produces approximately 2400 L/min oil-free air for strong cleaning effect.
✔ Oil-free and clean air
Safe for Personnel and Equipment Cleaning
✔ Controlled airflow
Uses high-volume controlled airflow instead of sudden high-pressure blasts.
✔ Industrial safety approach
Designed for safe use in personnel cleaning and equipment drying.
